Great Product!
I just installed this on my 2005 scion xA. Amazon said it will not fit my vehicle, but I measured it there was room so I ordered it. Fairly easy to install. The only thing I did was swap the supplied 3/8" hose for a 5/16" hose since that is the size of the fittings on the transmission. Works great as far as I can tell. Highly recommend. Top to learn more
Transmission Cooler
The part arrived on time and in excellent shape due to great packaging. I installed this cooler on my 2004 Acura MDX in about 40 minutes once the front bumper and splash guard assembly was removed, which took about 45 minutes to remove and 30 to replace. Buy some spare body clips because you will likely break or deform several of them when removing the splash guard. [...] Getting the return hose off the radiator is virtually impossible without a specialized tool, so buy a hose splice before you start the job and leave the hose attached to the radiator. The hose splice was the only part not included in the hardware kit, the two barbed fittings included in the kit screw together but do not form a hose splice (it will leak) so don't even try to use them for that purpose. If you elect not to change fluid when you install the cooler you will need about a qt of Z1-ATF. If you change fluid it will take almost 4 qts. The cooler does not leak and the transmission is preforming well. Top to learn more
