A solid built book. Good pictures and easy to understand. If you have a decent stock of tools yo can perform practically any minor job and some medium level repair work in your Mercedes Benz 300E. If in doubt take the book to a non dealer Mercedes Benz shop and ask a mechanic for a further explantion. You will save a lot of money.An advise: Read the needed repair instructions SEVERAL times until you have identified the parts and visualized the procedure.

New Mercedes e320 Owner
I just purchased a 1995 e320 wagon but did not want to have to run to the specialist for every job. This book contains enough detail to keep me busy. If you want to understand how to do most traditional DIY jobs then this is for you. It will help you with services, brake jobs, basic A/C and a host of other maintenance items.I believe if you have access to a full workshop, etc. then this may not be the manual for you, as it does not show you how to rebuild a gearbox, AC compressor etc. If you are an expert mechanic then this may not be detailed enough for you.Mr average Joe like me - will love the tips and help to diagnose issues without paying specialist rates.Good LuckChris

Flex-a-Lite 116 Fan
Great fan for the price cools engine much better than the stock belt fan. Almost cools to well, i would advise getting a temp sensor to control when the fan turns on and off though or set it up a on switch in side the cab. Well worth it, easy install and noticeable gas mileage and horsepower increase.

Nice fan
I purchased this as an add-on fan for my RV. When sitting in traffic the 460 Ford could not keep it's cool. Combined with the thermostatic control. This fan worked out well.

My wife's Mercedes S-500 needed a new radiator cooling fan assembly. The bearings in the motor were failing, and you can't buy just the motor. You have to buy the entire fan assembly. The local dealer wanted over one thousand dollars ($1,000.00). The local auto recycler could get a used one, but wanted over five hundred dollars ($500.00). I found this unit on Amazon for around two hundred fifty dollars ($250.00) including shipping.The fan arrived on time and was an exact fit. Same cast metal shroud, same motor and electrical connector, same fan blade and idler bearing, same drive belt.The only difference I found, it didn't come with paper Mercedes Benz sticker.
