Excellent low pressure pump
I needed a reliable low pressure pump for a vintage car. The new alcohol additive in gasoline is causing many vapor lock problems in older, carburated cars. I run a restoration shop and have used Carter products for a long time now. Having tried all the other brands, Carter is my pump of choice. This pump is exceptionally quiet, as well as having very stable pressure. Many pumps will vary pressure widely with temperature changes. This one doesn't seem to do that. If you need a 4lb pressure fuel pump, buy this one from Amazon. I couldn't beat the price from any of my other suppliers. Avoid the cheaper pumps, you won't be happy with them. This one will run well for a long time.

fuel pump for old motorhome
Replaced a mechanical pump on a 1979 dodge 440 motor home. Installed where the old pump connections are. 1/2 hour install and never started and ran so good. Did not use a pressure regulator. VERY HAPPY !

fuel pump for cub cadet
Had installed a new fuel pump last winter from kubota for their 3 cylinder gas engine on an old cub cadet tractor which cost more than $180. It lasted less than 2 months of lite use before quitting. I purchased this Carter P60504 pump, which has a 1 year warranty and it has been working superbly since, at a cost from Amazon of under $60. I am very pleased with it, and since it is made by Carter, it has a good chance of working for a very long time. I would highly recommend it for any old engine that was designed for 3 PSI fuel pressure.

Car Ground Loop Noise Begone!
My 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid had terrible problem with ground loop noise. It was unbearable that when I play music through the Aux jack while having the charger plugged in (any devices). There were "weeeezing" noises that drowned the music. I had to unplug my devices from the charger if I wanted to listen to clear music. This Kensington Noise Reducing device works wonder. 100% of the noise was gone. I hear no trace of ground loop noise playing music while charging my devices! The length of the cable is plenty for me. Well worth the money!

Works as advertised
Does what it claims, if you hear hissing or feedback when running your iPod (or, I presume, any other audio device) through your aux jack this should clear it up. In my case I use a Kensington LiquidAux running into a cassette adapter (my car predates aux jacks). I listen mainly to audiobooks and had an issue with clipping and distortion of the spoken high frequencies. Once I installed this between the cassette adapter and the LiquidAux, the problem disappeared. I also like the braided cord better than the usual plastic/vinyl cord you see, it feels sturdier.The only thing I would change is the length of the cord. I chose this device over the competing product by Griffin because the cord was 2' shorter - and even the 4' cord of this device is overkill for my setup. I have about 3' of extra cord coiled up inside my console. Of course depending on your situation maybe you need the extra cord, but I didn't. The other thing to remember is that you will likely need at least one...

Good Buy
I have, for the past ten or so years, been a professional writer with over fifty short stories published, and two novels. When I saw this typewriter on Amazon.Com, I was shocked to see such a wonderful model going for such a small price. Daisy Wheel typewriters provide a long life, durability, and good quality production. Not to mention that it came with free shipping. And on a ten pound item, you will pay more than you would like for shipping and handling. This has several features that save a lot of time, and a lot of repeating, frustrating motions. The only thing better than the great deal our friends at amazon have given us is this: With a high Yeild Nylon Ribbon, it flows like a stretch of silk. I am currently half way through my next book, coming to about four-hundred pages as of now, and I am still on the same ribbon I started with. Nice Typewriter for the Average Person
I am a very nostalgic person...thought my daughter would get a kick out of using a typewriter like the one I learned on in the 70's. Well, I bought this one for her and she loves it. Of course, it is very different typing on this as compared to a pc. It is also different than typing on a more expensive or more professional daisy wheel. For the price, it is a good typewriter and a good value.

wife's typewriter
My wife has been using this brother-GX6750 almost everyday since I purchased it for minor office work, like forms etc. It works fine for this purpose but she still needs her PC for major reports. Before I got this typewriter she used an old IBM Selectric which she loved for it's speed...but it died on her and it was very heavy to move around.(Wife) I am enjoying this Brother GX-6750...everyday I get a little more used to it's slower speed.

Best GPS I have ever Owned
I have owned quite a few GPS units all including Phone, Laptop and Dedicated. Flat out before I even get started the Garmin Nuvi 265WT is the best I have ever owned. Let me just make a couple of comments on the most important features.Touch Screen InterfaceVery intuitive and easy to use. Touch screen is responsive but not instantaneous. What I particularly like is the ability to switch to a top down view by touching the screen. Once done you can use your finger to drag the map around at any zoom point. Once done you can hit the back button and resume your 3D view.Turn by TurnYou have two options here. You can use one of the Text to Speech voices or one of natural voices. The text to speech voices will give you more information such as street names. This is what I use and even though you can tell it's a computer generated voice its quality is superb. Good unit for the price
Spent a weekend reviewing various GPS devices to replace my less than 1 year old Mio C320 (avoid these like the plague) that had its battery die about 4 months after purchase. Went back and forth along the entire line of Garmin devices, and finally settled on this one for the blue tooth and traffic, neither of which I'll probably hardly ever use, but nice to have when I want them.I was disappointed with the map, the "new" 2009 one, because I have some streets in my neighborhood that have been around for over four years and they're not to be found on this unit. Even the piece of junk cheap Mio had these streets.But that's about the only downside there is to it, the only reason I haven't given it 5 stars.Having been used to the MIO, and the horrible refresh rate, it is a pleasant change to see smooth scrolling as my vehicle moves. The ability to change the car icon is nice, especially with the plethora of icons available on the garmin website...

Map database leaves something to be desired.
I got this unit for Christmas, 2008. Although this is the first GPS that I've owned, I've been passenger on many trips with a friend who has Nuvi 350 so I was already familiar with Garmin. The unit I bought had the 2009 maps, and the firmware was fairly recent. Firmware, etc has since been updated to most recent version(s).My choice came down to the nuvi 265WT, 765T or 760. The 760 is a premium unit for a bargain price due it's being last years model, while the 765T had the features I wanted but is still pricey since it's a new model. In the end I opted for 265WT since it had the updated/new features that the 760 didn't have and was at the price that I was willing to spend. I did not really consider other brands, though my impression is that other brands offer more "bells and whistles" but suffer in the areas of ease of use and reliability.The unit has worked fine, no problems to speak of, though my actual time spend driving with it has been limited so far (spent lots of...
