I was a little skeptical at first because when you call they say there are not Identical to the factory. Indeed they are not identical, close but different. Honestly they look great, and I like the change from the AMG's I have had for 10 years.. Had them installed and they look even better. I have only had them on for 2 days.The delivery time was right on par with what I anticipated.Called several times and they are very responsive.

The US has a smaller model range because people see a 4 cylinder E Class as a joke and have no need for it. If they are paying far less for their V6 and V8 models than what we pay for 4 cylinder models, then there is no need to cheapen their brand... I also thought I might add that the fact that Volkswagens are quite reasonably priced in Australia compared to overseas markets verus their ridiculously priced German counterparts blows a hole in your entire argument. If the dealer profit margins are similar across the world (assuming this is correct), this simply means that the extra profits from cars sold in Australia are being shifted to the parent company in Germany instead of the Australian dealers. Australia has a population of 22 million versus 313 million for the US or 63 million for the UK, so yes they have more buying power.
