Very powerful Ive used it 3 times so far and it appears to be built to last I would recommended this for any home mechanic/ do it yourselfer. Just remember that all pneumatic tools should be oiled with each use (just a few drops in the air nipple where the hose hooks on).

Great tool for the price
I purchased this ratchet about a year ago for light automotive work and have no complaints. It wasn't purchased for everyday use but is good quality, has average power and is holding up well. It's not going to torque head bolts but that's not what it's designed for, it has plenty of power for my use.

More than adequate
I bought this air ratchet several months ago and am very happy with it. I've read many reviews on air ratchets and the common complaint seems to be anemic torque performance. Understand this - most air ratchets under $100 are perported to deliver between 45 and 55 ft/lb of torque and test out somewhat less. That's the way it is - get over it. Air ratchets are not designed to crack lug nuts and head bolts. That's what impact wrenches and breaker bars are for. They are designed to zip off loosened nuts/bolts and eliminate the agony of hand ratcheting three inches of fine threads. In applications that have critical torque specs I use my air ratchet to snug all the bolts then use a torque wrench to tighten them to published specs. This CH ratchet is ideal for this and saves a ton of time. I would certainly recommend it to anyone looking for an air ratchet in this price range. Just don't expect it to be an impact wrench.
