triton, the only way to heat water!!!!
i recently purchased a triton hot water system for a fourth of july camp out. thinking i was a day late on my order didnt plan on it even getting here on time!! IT DID!!! way to go Amazon!!!! as far as the heater goes!!! 5 Star all the way!! plug it in to some water, install two batteries, hook up to propane!! and shower to your hearts content!!! absolutely awesome!!! took the advice from other users and shielded it from the wind, had absolutely no problems!! one shower for 19 people for three days and not one cold shower!!! i rate it as one of the best things since sliced bread!!!!!!Camping Guy!!

Triton Hot Water Heater
The Triton water heater that I recently purchased was delivered very promptly and was in excellent shape. Other than the garden hose converter fitting for the output port being the wrong thread size for U.S. garden hoses, everything went together easily and quickly. After purchasing the correct output fitting, I was able to convert an outside shower from one with just cold water to one with hot water. The heater works beautifully and heats water as advertised. I wish I would have stumbled across this product years ago.

We are steamy
We found this on Amazon read the reviews and went for it as the hot water source for our outdoor shower, which is our only shower. It was easy to set up, and works great. We have been using it for three months and it has used such a small amount of propane. The water is hot enough to shower in when its a cold night. The flow and pressure is good but it is not the same as indoor showers I have used, though it does the job and with no problem I can was my long hair and get the shampoo and conditioner rinsed out with ease.

Outdoor Use Only - Can Be Rigged for Indoor Use (with unit outside)
When converting our home from oil to gas service our area experienced a weather crisis. The conversion was halted due to more pressing local emergencies. Unfortunately this created a state of crisis within our home. We were left without any heat or hot water for over two months in the late fall early winter (an early snow season in my area).Just to be clear THIS UNIT IS FOR OUTDOOR USE ONLY and CANNOT BE USED INDOORS! We were able to utilize it indoors though, by running two long garden hoses from our faucet (with an adaptor to accept garden hoses), out of a window to the unit. The other hose ran from the unit to the shower hose (with an adaptor to connect 1/2" shower hose to 1" garden hose).Someone stated that the hose connections leak due to the threading, this was not true in my case. Water Heater
I ordered this heater to use in my camper. It does a great job as the only source of hot water. We have taken several showers in a row and had pleanty of hot water. My only complaint is that the heat adjustment is under the blue cover and is not easy to get to when mounted under a cabinet. I suggest that before mounting it perminatly to test the temperature of the water. It will get very hot. You may want to turn it down so children do not get burned.

Wow, Really Unbelievable Service!
The product speaks for itself. The water heater pulled me out of a crack when the weather went uncommonly cold on me on a recent camping trip. The trip was 3 months long and by the middle of October, I NEEDED hot water for a shower.I ordered the water heater, and it came in less time than expected and more than met my needs, providing much needed hot water for showers and washing dishes in the late Alabama fall.Something happened and one day I went out for a shower and couldn't get it to work, but that is not why I am writing this review. I went through all the troubleshooting steps online (I work online and have a 3G connection even when camping) but couldn't get a solution, and I needed a shower. :-)I called Shawn to get help through the steps to find out what was wrong, and my issues were solved in less than 5 minutes. We didn't find a solution for the issue I was having (the expected solution, anyway), but Shawn thought he knew what the problem...

Eco Temp L5
Works great. Just got back from our first camping trip with it and it worked as stated with no issues. We were retrofiting and old Apache pop-up for hot water and a shower and this unit supplied both. Since it is an out door unit we did a few modifications for easier use. We reversed the exhaust deflector and mounted it to the front with a couple of 1/2 inch sef tapping screws so we could hang the Eco Temp just outside a screen window with the controls facing toward the window for easy access and adjustement from inside the trailer while still exhausting away from the trailer. It worked great. We also installed a shower diverter at the tank and mounted seperate hoses for the sink and shower. It was too hard to control the temp when running the hot water through a 6 foot hose to the sink and another 6 foot hose to the shower. Works perfect
This thing worked perfect. I have electric hot water at home, and after hurricane Irene we lost power (still out, almost a week) so no hot water. I have a small generator that runs the essentials but not enough to power the hot water heater. I ordered this overnight and hooked it up to my spare washer hookups (Cold feeds the inlet, hot goes into the hot water hookup) and turned off my tank (Essentially back feeding the hot water lines). Cranked it up and away it went. Works perfect from the tap, showers are a little cool as my well water is very cold. I was going to order a diverter to fee dit from the tank where it has some time to warm up to room temperature before feeding this unit but after seeing the have a bigger unit I may just order that.4 stars instead of 5 because there were some issues during the install, one of the adapters was cheap and pushed apart, the light wasn't hooked up right and I had to take the cover off th put the light through the hole, when...
